Fashion designer Rachel Comey and Unreal Snacks have introduced the Coco Bag, a limited-edition clutch inspired by the inside of an Unreal chocolate wrapper. Announced on September 9, 2026, the collaboration brings together fashion design and food packaging through an accessory built around an unexpected visual reference.
The Coco Bag was designed through Comey’s creative perspective and debuted across several looks at her Spring/Summer 2027 runway show. The presentation also marked the 25th anniversary of her fashion label, placing the collaboration within a significant moment for the designer.
Rather than following a conventional luxury handbag concept, the Coco Bag draws attention to the visual details of an everyday product. The inside of a chocolate wrapper becomes the inspiration for a fashion accessory, transforming a familiar object into a distinctive design idea. This approach gives the bag a story that connects directly to both partners.
The collaboration reflects a shared interest in making ordinary experiences feel less predictable. For Comey, the project connects with a design philosophy that considers how people live and dress while introducing unusual creative references. For Unreal Snacks, the partnership places its brand within a fashion setting through a product that goes beyond conventional food marketing.
The Coco Bag demonstrates how limited-edition collaborations can create a meeting point between unrelated industries. Its value as a news story lies not only in the accessory itself, but also in the creative process that connects packaging, runway fashion and brand identity.
